In this 10th Episode of the Shastrartha, we discuss the subject on same-sex marriage in India. I try to understand this subject in the light of a recent PIL filed in the Delhi High court by Abhijit Iyer Mitra, Gopi Shankar M, Giti Thadani & G. Oorvasi. Three of the petitioners will join me in this session. Should we legalize same-sex marriage? If yes why? If no why? What are the possible pitfalls if any post the legalisation? Why have the applicants filed a PIL to legalize same-sex marriage under the Hindu Marriage Act?
