Kavita Bajeli-Datt of the New Indian Express reported that “The NCERT textbooks have included references to Shrimad Bhagavad Geeta in Class VI and VII and its shlokas in Sanskrit textbooks of classes XI and XII, the Lok Sabha was informed on Monday.” As per the report dated 23rd December 2022 by Zaini Majeed of the Republic “Minister of State for Education, Annapurna Devi, in a letter, stated that the government aims to establish the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) Division in the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in 2020”.
