In the 13th Episode of Shastrartha Aarti Tikoo and Nikhil Mehra share their views about Press Freedom in India in the light of the arrest and the subsequent bail application of Arnob Goswami. There are many perspectives in this saga, on one side we have the journalists struggle in India where they can be arrested by the government in power and basically kept in jail on multiple charges. On the other side, we have archaic laws that exist on our statute books which get used to silence people depending on their political leanings.
