My first interaction with Kushal was on his podcast about Sabarimala. Initially apprehensive and colored by my previous experiences speaking to rationalists about temples &faith, I was guarded. But the 5 minutes of prep before the podcast broke the ice and gave me the sense that I was going to be heard with an open mind. To date, that chat is the only one where the full range of issues were discussed without acrimony. I have followed his podcasts and tweets since and appreciate his ability to give and take criticism, objectively. I count him as a friend now and am glad to have a well-read, well-spoken ally in this civilizational amrut manthan. I wish he would expand his podcasts and do more of them, and that his tribe prospers.
